The Philippines is an award-winning producer of poultry products — a P100-billion industry producing about 800 million broilers per year.

In 2010, the Philippine poultry industry won Asia’s most prestigious award in “Livestock Asia” at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. By 2015, poultry raising has contributed 17.23% to the gross agricultural output of the livestock sector.

Though poultry raising began as a largely backyard enterprise, it has moved to the formation of full-scale integrated contract farming operations. The country has achieved great self-sufficiency in poultry production.

Despite growth, challenges remain in the poultry business. These include rising population coupled with demand, exceptional shortages of chicken during massive typhoons, and occasional feed quality problems that can lead to destructive poultry parasites.

That’s why we involve a team of nutritionists and veterinarians to create highly technical solutions for feed ingredients, making sure chickens get optimal nutrient absorption and are resilient against disease.
